Shoes, Shoes, and more shoes!

The bridal shoe is an important part to complete the bridal look. Typically a bride needs to find the “right” shoe for her, right after she finds the dress, and before the first dress fitting. There are so many options for the traditional bridal shoe, and designers have been amping up the bridal shoe to satisfy the tastes of every bride.

In the US more brides are heading towards the non-traditional colors, and choosing shoes that complement their personalities as well as the dress. This means, you no longer necessarily have to stick to the traditional colors such as ivory, white, beige, and gold! Thanks to the adventurous brides, such as Carrie Bradshaw in Sex and the City who wore the “something blue” pumps from Manolo Blahnik, I think its safe to choose a different color now. A favorite color, or a unique/daring style, I like the idea that it is hidden underneath the wedding gown and if it ever shows people will take a sneak peek at your wild sense of style.

Here is a collection of shoes from different designers:

And for the tall brides 🙂

And for the non-traditional bride:

I like the idea of having a different shoe color for a wedding. My friend is getting married end of this month inshalla and shes gonna mix east and west traditions (shes half American) and she told me she will wear two shoes… now I cant say anything about her second shoes cuz its kinda a surprise LOL but will update you! It suits her character REALLY well so you are right about the “peek at your wild sense of style”

    • yea, it is fun honestly hehe I don’t like to be too traditional especially since most of these traditions are not really ours! So it is not that bad to steer shwaya and add some of your style to it.

So are you gonna wear classic white shoes? Or are you going for a bit of color?

      • They won’t be fuchsia which was my first choice lol I was going to get the Manolo Blahnik Fuchsia pumps, I tried them on but then I saw an other bride get hers in blue I realized so many brides get this style so opted out.
